Without a doubt, this is certainly a great time to be Adele, at least from the outside looking in. Going on to release her third studio album, 25, during November of last year, Adele has found herself sitting comfortably at the top of many charts across the world over the course of the past few months. Breaking record after record and currently selling over 7 million copies of her latest studio effort, just in the U.S. alone, Adele’s reign just might be at an all-time high. Currently prepping for a tour that is slated to take off in a few weeks overseas, the singer hasn’t forgotten about her latest studio LP and is still hitting the promo circuit, not that she needs to, in support of the project. Stopping by “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” the ‘Hello’ songstress had the pleasure of once again putting her vibrant personality at the forefront. Participating in “Carpool Karaoke,” Adele took on hits of her own, along with a series of hits from other fellow music industry peers. In what may come as a surprise to many, Adele is quite the rapper as the singer dived head first into Nicki Minaj’s now legendary ‘Monster’ verse. Hand gestures, voice changes, and hitting every lyric as if they were her own, it could be safe to say that the sensation is one of Nicki’s Barbs. See for yourself and watch her spit, below, starting at the 10:00 mark.
