Over the past few months, there has been major speculation as to just when Adele would make her return to the music scene. As we head to the 5 year mark since the release of her second studio album, 21, selling millions of copies across the world, Adele became a phenomenon that only hits the industry every few years. Now, as the singer has took some time to learn and grow with life experiences, the sensation herself is ready for round 3 as she has officially announced her third studio album, 25.

In a open-letter posted to her official Twitter account, the singer lets it be known that “life happened” and 25 will simply be a make-up LP vs. 21, which was a break-up album. Interestingly enough, it’ll be a make-up record to herself. Just a few days ago, the singer shocked the world with a teaser that aired during a commercial break of the UK’s “The X Factor” and now it looks like things will take off completely very soon. Being one of those artist where the quality doesn’t need to be questioned, the world is ready for 25.
