Less than a month until the release of Adele’s third studio album is given to the world, more good news has surfaced for the singer. Over 4 years ago, Adele released the critically acclaimed album that was launched by the ever-so catchy, but the emotion capturing, ‘Rolling In the Deep.’ Followed by a few additional singles that captured its same essence, the records became the driving force that helped Adele’s 21 consistently top the Billboard Top 200 chart week after week. Now, ahead of the 25‘s release, it has been revealed that 21 has become the tenth biggest selling album in Nielsen Music history.
21 has sold 11.2 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen Music, which makes it the tenth-largest selling album since Nielsen began tracking sales in 1991.
As the world is about to hear and see Adele everywhere in the next few weeks, it’s also great to recognize the accomplishments the U.K singer has accomplished in her career thus far. With a launch of a new single and album on the horizon, Adele is already going into it with a win under her belt, and from the looks of things, she’ll be adding a few more to the collection very soon.
