In his time with the Rockies in 2018, Ottavino appeared in 75 games with 77.2 innings pitched. He featured a 2.43 ERA, with a 0.99 WHIP, while striking out 112 batters. Ottavino had a bounce-back year in 2018 after he spent the offseason in a vacant storefront, fixing the way he pitches. Over the course of the offseason, he used all the analytics that Driveline Baseball uses to rebrand himself and the results showed in 2018.
