Harlem’s own A$AP Rocky is set to return to Sweeden for a concert later this year. Rocky is expected to perform at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm on December 11th 2019. The venue can hold up to 16,000 fans and is managed by Live Nation’s Swedish team.
Earlier this year, Rock infamously got into an altercation with a man named Mustafa Jafari. Rocky was later arrested and detained following the incident. Swedish legal officials found Rocky guilty and handed him a two year suspended sentence.
The case gained international attention and caught the attention of Kim Kardashian-West and later, Donald Trump.
A promoter for the show stated, “After huge support from his Swedish fans, [Asap Rocky] returns to Stockholm for a long-awaited gig for all his supporters.”
Rocky is not expected to pocket the proceeds from the upcoming show. Reports indicate that he will donate his profits to the Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups (FARR).
As described, “The Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups, FARR, is an umbrella organization for individuals and groups working to strengthen the right of asylum.”
Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on November 12th via Live Nation.
