John Krasinski’s 2018 horror masterclass, A Quiet Place took the world by storm. One of the few films in the last few years that was considered a must-watch in theaters, Paramount greenlit a sequel quickly and had a release date set less than six months after the original hit theaters.
Earlier this summer, Krasinski revealed via Twitter that filming had begun on the sequel, A Quiet Place: Part II. The actor turned writer/director then took to Twitter again on Wednesday to reveal filming has officially wrapped.

Krasinski’s real-life wife Emily Blunt is set to reprise her role in the film. Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds are also set to return as Blunt’s on-screen children. Krasinski starred in the first film as the family’s patriarch. However, due to his character’s tearful sacrifice to end that one, he’ll be staying behind the camera for Part II. Cillian Murphy, Djimon Hounsou, and Wayne Duvall are all set to join the sequel in unknown roles. Nothing is known about the plot of the sequel yet.
A Quiet Place: Part II is set to hit theaters on March 20th, 2020.
