After the success of The Avengers, it should come as no surprise that Warner Bros. would want to jump on the money train and create their own film of superheroes united for a common cause.
The Justice League is the DC Comics equivalent to Marvel’s Avengers. The Justice League includes a lot of your favorite superheroes like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.
Allegedly, Warner Bros. is serious about getting this film out within the next few years, and it looks like they’ve found the man to do it: Ben Affleck.
Although many are reporting that Affleck has already declined to direct the live-action superhero movie, there is still no official word on how he feels about the issue.
A Justice League film would be great, but Warner Bros. needs to make sure it’s handled the correct way. The Christopher Nolan Batman series is excellent, in a league of its own, really. Warner Bros. needs someone who can make the Justice League film just as good as those Batman films, especially if they’re aiming for an ounce of the success that The Avengers garnered.
