With less than a month until the new James Bond film debuts in theaters across the globe, the stars of the film have been making their various interviewing rounds.
Recently, Naomie Harris, the latest “Bond Girl” sat down with Huffington Post and discussed that Idris Elba could possibly be the next James Bond.
Here’s what she said:
I didn’t realize that there was this talk and then I did a film with Idris [Elba] and he said that he met Barbara Broccoli [James Bond producer] and that it does seem like there is a possibility in the future that there could very well be a black James Bond. And I would have to vote for Idris because I just finished working with him and he’s a great guy.
If chosen, this would make Elba an even bigger star than he already is. Here’s to hoping he’s selected as the next 007!
