It’s crazy to think at 7’1 Rudy Gobert could still be growing, but according to this picture from his French club, he is still getting bigger. Being only 22 years old, he could grow even more, but it’s hard to believe this giant can become even more ginormous.
If Gobert continues to grow, he will be a very scary matchup for any other NBA center, and adding a little more skill to his game could make himself unstoppable. With the departure of Enes Kanter, Gobert just began to touch his potential, and with a full season of being the starter in Utah, a lot should be expected from the French giant.
The Jazz need to keep Gobert in their plans for the future especially if he grows into the giant this late growth spurt may make him. Utah is one of the biggest team’s in the league, and they will appear even larger on the court come next season.
