We get it, Kanye West can be a bit of an audacious ass. Nonetheless, to expect over 67,000 people to sign a petition to keep him off the bill for the Glastonbury Festival in England, is kind of jarring. In a petition that started off as joke by Neil Lonsdale, it seems to unveil a true disdain for the “All Day” rapper.
In a quote from Spin the Lonsdale says:
“Kanye West is an insult to music fans all over the world,” wrote petition-starter Neil Lonsdale, apparently speaking for music fans all over the world (or, at the very least, the U.K.). “This egotistical, maniacal, disgrace was a clear oversight,” he continued. “There is still time to correct this.”
So it seems that Lonsdale isn’t alone in his thinking. It will be telling if Ye actually does get pushed off the bill, but considering contracts have been signed, it’s likely this will all be for not.
