Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will not attend the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, despite a CNN report to the contrary. Instead, Jackson’s representatives say he’ll be “in Shreveport preparing for his upcoming Humor & Harmony festival.” Set for the second week of August, the inaugural festival will feature a wide array of influencers, musical acts, comedians and athletes, including Katt Williams, Terrell Owens, Adrian Peterson, Cam’ron, Keith Sweat, Bill Bellamy and Busta Rhymes among others.
“I’m bringing all my friends to Shreveport for Humor and Harmony Weekend [on] August 8-11th. [W]e are going to give back in a huge way through my G-Unity Foundation. Over 70K+ people have signed up for HumorHarmonyWeekend.com,” he wrote on Instagram.
Despite Jackson’s absence, the Republican National Convention will still invite several public figures to Milwaukee for the four-day event, including UFC President Dana White and country music artist Chris Janson. Not to mention, former reality show star Amber Rose addressed the convention on Monday, July 15.
“The left told me to hate Trump and even worse, to hate the other side — the people who support him. When you cut through the lies, you realize the truth: American families were better when Donald Trump was president,” Rose said.
“We were safer, wealthier and stronger.”
The Republican National Convention will continue on Tuesday, July 16 as Vivek Ramaswamy, Governor Ron DeSantis, Dr. Ben Carson and several other speakers step up to the podium.
