50 Cent and O’Shea Jackson Jr. lead an ensemble cast in this bank heist thriller. ‘Den Of Thieves’ centers around a group of high-end criminals who are looking to be the first crew to ever take down a branch of the federal reserve. Branches of the federal reserve are easily some of the most protected buildings on the planet and can house billions of dollars at any given time. While the trailer definitely exudes mad ‘HEAT‘ vibes, I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie where they tried to take down the federal reserve. This feels like a throwback to the action flicks of the late 90’s and early 2000’s where believability played second fiddle to simply providing an entertaining story, and I’m totally down with it.
