As we rapidly approach the release of NBA 2k16 this Friday – for those who pre-ordered -, 2k is still looking to blow fans away. Over the last few years fans of competitive play in NBA 2k complained about online competition and servers. Well this year 2k is definitely addressing the competition side as they introduce ‘Play Now Online’ and online leagues.
There will be 10 leagues: Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity, Junior College, College, Euro League, D-League, NBA, Hall Of Fame and Greatest Of All Time.
You’ll start in the Freshman league and as you rack up wins, you’ll progress into the next league and your competition will get tougher. Along with the progression, you’ll unlock some of the classic teams to play with online and more.
Head to Head online games now matter. Wins and losses count toward reaching goals and new league seeds. Rising through the ranks won’t be easy. But can you be the greatest of all-time?
