On Friday, January 24, 2025, the Recording Academy unveiled the slate of performers set to take the stage at Crypto.com Arena during the 67th GRAMMY Awards. Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims lead this year’s collection of performing artists. Global superstars Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are also expected to be in attendance for one of the biggest nights in all of entertainment.
However, the focus of the 67th GRAMMY Awards will not be music entirely. Throughout the last month, the site of the 67th GRAMMY Awards, Los Angeles, California, has been devastated by wildfires. More than two dozen people have passed away and nearly 17,000 structures, buildings and homes have reportedly been destroyed. Thankfully, the Palisades, Hughes and Eaton fires, are all reportedly more than 90% contained.
“The upcoming GRAMMY Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year, it will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need,” said Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. “We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”
Hosted by Trevor Noah, the 67th GRAMMY Awards will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Crypto.com Area in Los Angeles, California at 8-11:30 p.m. EST.
