For the first time, Something In The Water is coming to the nation’s capital. On Tuesday, Pharrell and company unveiled the festival’s lineup and it did not disappoint. Led by the legendary producer, the three-day event will feature performances from timeless acts like Usher, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Pusha T, Run The Jewels and T.I. Adding on, the festival will also feature performances from current day stars like Tyler, The Creator, Lil’ Baby, Lil’ Uzi Vert, 6LACK, Chloe x Halle and Lucky Daye among others. Not to mention, rising acts like Paris Texas and Ogi will also have their opportunity to shine as well. Tickets for this year’s festival will go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. ET.
Something In The Water adds to a summer of incredible events. In July, Rolling Loud will bring Kanye West, Future and Kendrick Lamar to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Two months later, Made In America will return to the “City of Brother Love” for another major celebration of music and creativity. Not to mention, Day N’ Vegas will look to follow-up last year’s event in Sin City.
