The time has once again come, it’s March and this year’s 2022 NCAA Tournament is set to commence this week. The round one schedule has been released and below you can find every start time and matchup of every game in the first round including the First Four matchups in Dayton. After a wild conference tournament week, this year’s tournament is expected to be as crazy as ever. With no truly dominant teams in college basketball this year, it’s anyone’s guess who will be cutting down the nets on the first Monday in April.
The one seeds this season are Gonzaga, their second one seed in as many years along with Arizona, Kansas, and last year’s champion Baylor Bears. As always there are a number of intriguing matchups down the line but not as many first-round matchups that jump off the page like in some years. Watching which of the Power-Five conference tournament champions can keep the momentum going will be interesting to watch.
