Angie Martinez, Sway Calloway and The Breakfast Club are among the nominees for the 2020 Radio Hall of Fame Class.
“2020 marks 100 years of radio and, while we regret that we cannot hold an in-person event this year, we’re looking forward to the excitement of a live, multi-location radio broadcast,” Radio Hall of Fame Chairman Kraig Kitchin said.
“I want to thank Dennis Green, and all the radio professionals who are volunteering their time and expertise to the difficult task of selecting inductees from such an impressive list,” Kitchin added.
Joining the trio of broadcast radio nominees are 21 other nominees. Late ABC Correspondent Cokie Roberts, Larry Elder and Suzyn Waldman of the New York Yankees Network are also nominated.
Voting will begin this week and the induction ceremony will take place remotely in October.
