In what has become normal and expected in recent years, today is the day that BET has aired it’s award show that recognizes the genre of Hip-Hop and the artists that have made contributions to the genre over the past year. With the past several months bring about great moments for Hip-Hop, today was the perfect day to air the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. With Drake being this year’s most nominated artists, the excitement facts was already there for many, but as this year’s performers being announced, the excitement only went through the roof. With performances by Gucci Mane, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Very, 21 Savage, D.R.A.M. and more, BET made sure to hold it down for those in attendance and those who watched from the comfort of their homes.
