Just like that, the NBA’s opening night is coming. It feels like just yesterday we saw LeBron James block Andre Iguodala’s shot, Kyrie Irving hit a huge go-ahead three over Stephen Curry and Kevin Love play some solid defense on the reigning NBA MVP to secure a Cleveland Cavaliers championship.
The 2016-17 season will begin with those same two teams that ended the 2015-16 season but in different contests. The Golden State Warriors will host the San Antonio Spurs to start the season. The new look “superteam” (according to Derrick Rose’s friends) New York Knicks will travel to Ohio and compete against the Cleveland Cavaliers as the new champs receive their rings.

The remainder of the NBA’s opening night schedule will be released soon along with the entire NBA regular season schedule, one of the most anticipated days in the NBA’s year.
UPDATE:
Added to the 2016-17 NBA opening night schedule will be a very good contest between potential playoff teams next season. The Portland Trail Blazers will visit the Utah Jazz for a game that tips off at 8:00 pm but it will not be on national television.
