In just 5 days, MTV will broadcast 2015’s Video Music Awards. One of music’s most anticipated award shows among fans, many are always curious to see what MTV will pull out of the box to top themselves from the year before. Unlike prior years, the hype for this year’s show has been little to none. Although, that could be due to the lack of information regarding this year’s performers. Anticipation can now be heightened as MTV has announced its first set of performs for this Sunday’s award show.

As shown in the clip, the likes of Demi Lovato to The Weeknd will be taking the stage in less than a week. Announced earlier today as this year’s recipient of the Video Vanguard Award, Kanye West just may take the stage to deliver another spectacular showing that he’s know for. With two more performers being revealed, likely Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj, MTV just might have saved themselves from a ratings slump compared to last year’s showing. Be sure to tune in to the VMAs this Sunday, 8/30, at 9/8c.
