The Stephen King universe is one of the most vast and expansive in all of literature. His characters and novels have been adapted into film and television countless times. From the current box office juggernaut ‘IT’ to all-time classics like ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ they all have originated from works by King. Making the project that Hulu, King and JJ Abrams are all the more interesting. ‘Castle Rock’ is an amalgamation of most of King’s work into one program. The first trailer rattled off the names and locations of some of the most iconic King creations in an attempt to show the audience that their favorite piece of Kings work would perhaps be included in the new show. This past weekend at New York Comic Con we got our first look at what this new show/universe would look like.
We’ve attached the full trailer and synopsis for ‘Castle Rock’ below.
