Zombieland fans finally got their first look at the upcoming sequel today. The film’s official Twitter account took part in the ‘#10yearchallenge’ and posted a promo picture for the new movie. The picture gives fans a look at the returning cast and reveals the sequel’s title, Zombieland: Double Tap.

Zombieland: Double Tap has been in development for the better part of 10 years but is finally hitting theaters later this year. Abigail Breslin, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Emma Stone are all reprising their roles from the original film. They aren’t the only ones returning though as original writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese both returned to write the sequel. Venom director Ruben Fleischer also returned to direct the sequel.
Details about the film’s plot are still light but we do know there is going to be some kind of time jump. Regardless, with the returning cast and crew members, I’d expect Zombieland: Double Tap to be just as good as the original.
