The ladies of Pop are coming hard in 2016 and are making sure they deliver some of their best material to date. Up next to take a swing at things is none other than actress and singer, Zendaya. Merely a week ago, news broke that the singer was taking another stab at music with an upcoming single. Now, we officially have the new record, ‘Something New,’ and Zendaya has brought along hit-maker, Chris Brown, for the wild ride. Playing on the curiosity of trying something new with someone, the record is a R&B and Pop fusion that goes on to effectively sample TLC’s classic hit, ‘Creep.’ Lending his talent, Chris Brown jumps right in and plays on TLC’s contributing melody with his short and straight to the point verse for the ladies. Upon the first listen, it’s evident that Zendaya’s ‘Something New’ is easily what the formula of radio success sounds like. Already doing well via the world of television, along with having one album already under her belt, Zendaya has ensured that she brought out the big guns as she kicks things off for her sophomore studio effort.
