Golden State Warriors center Zaza Pachulia wants to knock down a three-pointer this season:
Zaza Pachulia: "My goal is to make one 3-pointer this season."

Don’t worry, I fact-checked. In his 13 years of NBA play, Zaza Pachulia has never made a three-point shot. He has attempted 24 of them in his career and has yet to connect on one.
So, knowing the Warriors, Pachulia will probably shoot 40%+ from beyond the arc this season. At any rate, I was not there when Pachulia said this, but I’m going to assume that he said it with at least a hint of mirth. I highly doubt that his sole goal for the season is to make a three. I’m sure if you asked him whether he’d rather hit a shot from deep one time or win the first championship of his NBA career, he’d go with the latter.
Another possibility: maybe he’s just taking it as a given that the Warriors will win a championship, and therefore isn’t even considering winning one a goal. Whatever happens, I wish Zaza the best. 0-24 ain’t pretty. I have faith that he can make at least one three this season, and I’m totally here for him chucking threes trying to achieve his goal.
