
The brother of NBA player Zach Randolph has been shot and killed in Indiana, according to Anna Carrera of WTHR. Roger Randolph was pronounced dead around 5 a.m. in Marion, Indiana outside a barbecue restaurant called Hop’s Blue’s Room. Zach Randolph was not with his brother at the time.

Roger Randolph was sentenced to three years in prison in 2005 for his role in a nightclub shooting. Zach was with his brother for that event and was questioned, but not charged. He was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers at the time.
The 36-year-old Zach has been in the NBA for 17 seasons, playing for five different organizations. Most recently, he played for the Sacramento Kings last season.
Kings General Manager Vlade Divac issued a statement on behalf of the team in response to the tragic loss.
