Being that this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest was arguably the best ever, you can be sure to look forward to that in NBA 2K17, which will be out this fall.
Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon were shown on the NBA 2K Twitter account simulating a dunk to be digitized for NBA 2K17. LaVine caught one off the bounce and finished a saucy one-handed reverse. Gordon threw one to himself and went with a two-handed reverse windmill. Both are made that much cooler in slow motion.

Hopefully these will count for in-game dunks for these two, but this probably implies that there will be another emphasis on some kind of Slam Dunk Contest feature in NBA 2K17.
