Former Buffalo Bill Zach Brown has signed with the Washington Redskins, per NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. After meeting with them earlier this afternoon, Brown agreed to terms with the Redskins organization. Seeking a big pay day, the 6-year veteran earned Pro Bowl honors in 2016.
An injury to Reggie Ragland gave Brown the opportunity to step up and produce in what was his best season with a career-high 149 tackles, along with a healthy 16 game season.
Brown’s agent took to twitter to publicize his deal with his new team.

Brown was drafted in the second round by the Tennessee Titans and played throughout his rookie contract. After deciding not to re-sign the inside linebacker, the Bills took a shot on the ex-North Carolina Tar Heel. With 2 teams in the linebackers past, Brown is looking to settle down with a team he can make an impact within the near future.
After what has been a shaky offseason for the Redskins, including the rumors of Kirk Cousins wanting out of Washington, to the firing of GM Scot McCloughan, the organization is looking to contend for an NFC East championship, among many things. With the recent additions of DJ Swearinger, Terrell McClain, and Stacy McGee, Washington seems to be looking to turn things around on both sides of the ball.
