Are you ready? Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White and Harris Dickinson are about to step into the ring for A24’s latest feature film, The Iron Claw. Set for release on December 22, the wrestling biopic tells the story of the Von Erich family dynasty and tragedy.
“The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s. Through tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports,” the film’s log line reads.
The Zac Efron-led feature wraps up a busy year for A24, which includes the release of Dicks: The Musical, Medusa Deluxe, Stop Making Sense, Talk To Me, Pi, Earth Mama and Stephen Curry: Underrated among others. Later this year, the studio will also bring Priscilla, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt, The Zone of Interest and Dream Scenario.
