Zac Efron is on a movie snagging role!
The 26-year old actor will be starring in the upcoming thriller, The Associate.
Efron replaced Shia LaBeouf who was previously signed on to star in the John Grisham adaptation, The Wrap reports.
Efron will play a Yale Law School graduate who finds himself the victim of blackmail, forced to work as a lawyer and a spy caught up between two powerful defense contractors.
Efron’s production company Ninjas Runnin’ Wild will be producing the film, alongside Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher of Red Wagon Entertainment.
Zac Efron also stars opposite Seth Rogan in the comedy The Neighbors, which hit’s theaters May 9.
