After much anticipation, Young Thug’s newest body of work, Slime Language, is available to the masses. Released on Thug’s birthday, Slime Language comes complete with fourteen tracks. As announced earlier this week, the project features Gunna, Lil’ Baby, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Jacquees, Duke, Karlae, Neechie, Dolly, Trapboy Freddy and more. Thug’s newest musical output will also feature production from the usual suspects.
In celebration of the project’s release, Thug has decided to do things up the right way. The Atlanta native announced on Instagram that he would be renting out a Dave & Buster’s location where Slime Language will be presumably on repeat. What better way to celebrate your birthday and album release than food and games?
Thug definitely deserves to celebrate. Coming off the heels of a great 2016 campaign, Thug has had a great eighteen month stretch. Thanks to his collaboration mixtape with Future and Hear No Evil EP, Thug has stayed relevant in the minds of many. Not to mention, he won a VMA for his infamous “Wyclef Jean” video and he earned his first number one record through his feature on Camila Cabello’s “Havana”. Heading into the second half of 2018, Thug will be nominated for four VMAs for his contribution to “Havana” and he will likely be headed on tour. Things never seem to slow down for the Slime Language star. Stream his newest project above.
