Young Thug teases fans with his own verse on the infectious hit Old Town Road. The Lil Nas X song which caused controversy on Billboard charts may earn another remix.
Following the removal of his song from the Billboard country charts, Billy Ray Cyrus welcomed Lil Nas X to the outlaw club. Joining him on an official remix, both Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus publicly embraced each other musically.
As the country-infused rap song continued building momentum, potential remix rumors continue to sprout. Lil Nas X and Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion exchanged Tweets and Emoji regarding the track. Lil Nas X returning to his internet troll roots even sparked Beyonce rumors.

An all in the family country remix would get the biggest yee-haw out of the south, the only artist so far to release anything over the track is Young Thug. Undeniably, his album BEAUTIFUL THUGGER GIRLS used country music elements. To no surprise, Lil Nas X himself even credits Thugger with pioneering the Trap-Country sound.
“But with country trap, I in no way want to take credit for that. I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that.” says Lil Nas X to TIME Magazine.
The two Atlanta artists linking up for a remix seems inevitable. Although not officially released, Young Thug used social media to share a snippet of his addition to Old Town Road. His Instagram caption alludes to a remix of the remix, adding a verse to the second version featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.
