Drake is a busy man and he’s back again. This year, he’s connected with Headie One, Lil’ Durk, Fivio Foreign and more. Now, he’s taking a step off the beat and path to work with rising Alabama artist Young Bleu.
The Canadian superstar and Young Bleu have connected for “You’re Mines Still.” Throughout the track, the two retell stories of heartbreak.
“If I ever made you angry girl/Just know that it get better over time/They say time heals/She can’t see her life without me, she so blessed still/F*ck that n*gga, you can tell him that you’re mines still,” Yung Bleu sings.
“Ashamed to tell my friends how much I do for you/’Cause they know that you would never do the same for me/I wasn’t lookin’ for your secrets, they just came to me/And they contradicted everything you claimed to be,” Drake adds.
Prior to linking up with Drake, the Alabama native put in a ton of work. This year, he’s dropped three projects including Love Scars: The 5 Stages of Emotions, Bleu Vandross 3 and Since We Inside. He’s also linked up with the likes of PnB Rock and Kevin Gates.
“You’re Mines Still” is just the next step on the path to stardom for Yung Bleu. Check out his new collaboration with Drake below.
