YNW Melly is currently going through a bit of legal difficulty. The Florida artist was arrested on Thursday, January 3rd for two misdemeanor drug charges. Not long after being brought into custody, representatives from Melly’s team posted the rapper’s mugshot on Twitter with a caption that read, “Free Melvin. I’ll be out before my tour.” While the charges seem to be minor, they could prove to be costly as the rapper is scheduled to begin his 2019 tour at the end of this month. Despite the legal obstacles currently in front of him, YNW Melly has decided to move forward. Last night, he dropped his latest project, We All Shine. Today, he followed up with a video for one of the tracks off of his latest project.
YNW Melly has linked up with Chicago’s own Kanye West. The two collaborated for the new track, “Mixed Personalities”. In the new visual, the two give their eccentric and futuristic take on the track complete with all white attire, robots and more. As for the music, YNW Melly handles all of the verses, but Kanye West comes in to add his two cents on the hook.
