West coast is back! Not that the West coast has ever left, but one of the region’s most loved rappers of recent years has finally dropped his new single from his forthcoming album. After hints and warnings over the past few weeks, YG has made his return and is ready to kick things off into high gear.
Yes, YG is back in action and he’s bringing the flavor more than ever. Dropping his debut album, My Krazy Life, over two years ago in March of 2014, the California rapper has rode the waves of success by himself and with other Hip-Hop peers as he was apart of J. Cole’s Summer tour last year. Bringing along Drake, once again, and Kamaiyah for his new infectious tune, ‘Why You Always Hatin,’ single, YG is coming just as hard this time around. Serving as the first offering from his 2016 album, Still Krazy, the tune is undoubtedly the perfect reminder and kick off for this new era of music from the rapper. Still possessing the swag and vengeance that was heard in his earlier work, the addition of Drake bars and a catchy chorus from Kamaiyah makes ‘Why You Always Hatin’ a recipe for success.
