On Friday, December 22, YG and the 4HUNNID Ways Foundation hosted the 4Hunnid Ways Foundation Christmas Toy Drive at Fame Cast Media in Santa Monica, California. Sponsored by the Zeus Network, the toy drive provided more than 300 children with meals, holiday-themed activities, gifts and an opportunity to take a picture with Santa.
“The memorable experience fostered a sense of unity and holiday spirit throughout the community just in time for Christmas,” a press statement from YG and 4Hunnid Ways Foundation reads.
YG is no stranger to philanthropy. As COVID-19 spread throughout the world, the chart-topping artist helped deliver $10,000 worth of personal protective equipment to those in need. Also, YG and the 4HUNNID Ways Foundation distributed groceries to families on Mother’s Day, hosted Pull Up: An Ultimate Mental Health Concert and supported entrepreneurs seeking grants and contracts for small businesses.
Beyond his philanthropic efforts, YG has also been active musically, Most recently, he teamed up with Tyga to release Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist. The 14-track project include contributions from BLXST, Busta Rhymes and Lil’ Wayne.
