From the release of his debut album, YG has often been one known to take time off in between studio album releases. The California rapper has usually taken two years off in between each of his album releases. This time, YG is only taking a year off in between his fourth and fifth studio albums. Less than a year after releasing Stay Dangerous, YG is back with his fifth studio album, 4Real 4Real.
The new album from the 4Hunnid Records CEO comes with singles like “Stop Snitching” and “Go Loko.” YG’s 2019 album also comes with production from DJ Mustard and features from DaBaby, Boogie, Tyga, Meek Mill and many more.
The project also has particular focus and purpose. When releasing the album’s artwork, YG noted that he would be using his latest work to honor his late friend and collaborate, Nipsey Hussle. At the bottom of the 4Real 4Real cover, the California artist wrote, “In loving memory of Nipsey Hussle.”
In addition to dropping a new album, YG has also kept busy with features on Blueface’s “Thotiana” and G-Eazy’s “West Coast.” Be sure to check out YG’s latest project above and let us know what you think.
