Yannick Ngakoue has reportedly been traded to the Minnesota Vikings. As reported by ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Jacksonville Jaguars will receive a 2021 second-round pick as well as a conditional 2022 fifth-round pick from the Vikings for Ngakoue.
Jaguars agreed to trade franchise DE Yannick Ngakoue to Minnesota for a second- and conditional fifth-round pick that could go as high a third-round pick, league sources tell ESPN. Ngakoue still has to sign his tender, but trade is in place and Ngakoue is expected to be a Viking.

The news of Ngakoue’s trade comes as no surprise, as he has been public in his desire to leave the Jaguars.
To my new future team whomever it may be. I can’t wait to bring great discipline, integrity, and work ethic to that new city. Wherever I may land your going to get the hardest working defensive end in the league !?

Ngakoue has cemented a reputation for himself during his time with the Jaguars, making the Pro Bowl for the 2017 season. Drafted out of the University of Maryland in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Ngakoue has since amassed totals of 37.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and two defensive touchdowns.
For the Vikings, the addition of Ngakoue provides needed support for a depleted defensive line that has lost Everson Griffin to the Dallas Cowboys, as well as Linval Joseph to the Los Angeles Chargers during the current offseason period.
