This week has been another victory for the state of R&B. Ty Dolla $ign, THEY. and now Xavier Omär have dropped new projects. Omär’s new project, if You Feel, comes along with 11 new tracks including features from Jae Stephens, Masego, Quinn Barlow and Mereba.
“I want them to be able to feel each and every emotion. Fully feel every emotion that this album brings up in your heart and in your mind and just live with it. Let it do its healing. Let it do whatever it’s going to do for you, that’s what I would want people to step away with,” he said when asked about what he wants fans to walk away with after listening to this project.
One of the standout records from the new projects is “So Much More.” The video for the project’s fourth song is accompanied by a video featuring footage from his wedding. Both heartfelt and sincere, the song’s lyrics are equally as touching.
“Who would’ve thought that we would make it here?/Knew that our hearts would overtake our fears/So we grow and we learn from each other/From Hello, to just friends into lovers/So glad you took a chance on me,” he sings.
