The New York Giants will be without safety Xavier McKinney for a few weeks after he injured his hand in an ATV accident. He was riding an ATV during the team’s bye week while on a trip to Cabo. McKinney said he was on a guided sightseeing tour when the accident occurred. Luckily it sounds like the injury to his hand isn’t serious and he should return in a few weeks. The up-and-coming safety was the team’s second-round pick and 36th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Hopefully, his recovery will be quick and he will return to the field quickly.
In other news… #Giants S Xavier McKinney suffered a broken hand while on vacation during the bye week, source said, and now will miss several weeks.

This season with the New York Giants, Xavier McKinney has recorded 25 solo tackles, 38 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and four passes defended. The Giants’ defense has been much improved this season and McKinney has been a key player in the secondary. The team has high hopes for him moving forward in his career. New York’s next three games are against the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and rival Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Xavier McKinney will likely miss all three, but it will depend on his recovery time. We here at Def Pen Sports hope to see McKinney recovered and back on the football field as quickly as possible.
