It has been announced that X-Men: Days of Future Past will receive an extended theatrical release in 2015.
James Finn, EVP of Marketing Communications revealed via Twitter that the the 20th Century Fox film will be returning to cinemas next year with a longer cut.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is the highest-grossing film in the saga earning over $700 million at the box office.
The success of the latest film has pushed the film past the $3 billion earning marks.
