Internationally, it was Fox’s biggest opening ever, earning a total of $302 million.

X-Men: Days of Future Past marks the fifth biggest opening ever for a Memorial Day weekend and one of the best openings of 2014.
The movie, costing $200 million-plus, stars actors from the original X-Men trilogy and X-Men: First Class, including James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.
