Roman Reigns recently dropped the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday night at the ‘Money in the Bank’ pay-per-view. He originally lost it to Seth Rollins and then Rollins dropped the title after Dean Ambrose came in and cashed in his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract. The ‘lunatic fringe’ walked out of Las Vegas as the new champion and Reigns lost it. Now it appears that he dropped the belt for a very good reason.
WWE has suspended Roman Reigns for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
One failed test results in a 30 day suspension. A second failed test would result in a 60 day suspension. A superstar can be terminated after a third offense.
Reigns tweeted about being suspended shortly after the news was announced.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.

Reigns should be ready for the next pay-per-view in July. The ‘Battleground’ Event will be on July 25th in Washington D.C. and Reigns is slated to be in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight title going up against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match.
