The perfect song for this time of the year, feel good music. Brooklyn’s own WordSmiff takes us back to his stomping grounds in BK to reminiscence on the times as a kid where nothing else mattered but enjoying yourself on a nice Summer day.
Since dropping his Bars Over Everything III, WordSmiff has further built his name up in the underground scene or what is being dubbed “New New York”. ‘Welcome To The Summer’ is his first single since the mixtape and what better way to enjoy the Summer than with your peoples, so to share the moment he brings along frequent collaborator, ReQ Cartier for the occasion.
The two are currently working on their ‘Brooklyn’s Finest‘ project.
