Finally… I get to talk about this song.

Alright back to the business at hand and that is this new record, ‘Straight Jacket’. Now when I say finally, I low key had this song (unfinished of course) in my possession for sometime but out of respect for Smiff & ReQ, I kept quiet so everyone could enjoy this fire like I did. Expecting to drop their joint album ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’, the duo, WordSmiff & ReQ Cartier have been providing the masses with nothing but heat and if for some reason, outside of being on your deathbed or you have no WiFi and a flip phone you should have heard these already.
Now if you didn’t, don’t worry you know I got you covered. Check out; ‘Young Gods‘, ‘Welcome To The Summer‘ and then the DJ Mustard produced ‘I’m On It‘. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed at all by the records and like I have been saying the chemistry between the two shows progression in each song we get.
Produced by another big name in the industry, Boi-1da, the two literally go crazy on ‘Straight Jacket’ providing a respective verse each and honestly, a third verse would have been perfect in a “Jadakiss/Styles” back and forth sequence. WordSmiff as always brings the aggression and bars to the table while ReQ just lost his mind on this joint as his flow and delivery is a prime example of what can easily make or break a record. They both delivered.
Aside from that, I am personally looking forward to the album, so hopefully that is next on their agenda.
