“Mustard on the beat hoe… ” Is this what we doing guys?
WordSmiff & ReQ Cartier are not playing fair I see. The duo reigning from Brooklyn seem to have hopped in the HOV lane and decided to not look back.
Just last week we were provided with a very fun visual for ‘Welcome To The Summer’ which depicted all that is NYC for the most part, showing we know how to have a good time. Prior to #WTTS, Smiff and ReQ released their first record in ‘Young Gods‘ and if you guessed it that video was fitting as well for the song.
I’m telling you the chemistry between the two, as well as song making along with videos is mastered.
Now if you’re not familiar with ‘I’m On It’ the record produced by DJ Mustard – yes you read correctly – was first premiered on Word Of Mouth Radio during WordSmiff’s interview. From what I know, this record has been in the works for a little while as timing was the only thing holding its release back, politics and making sure everything is a go.
So, off their upcoming joint project ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’ check out ‘I’m On It’ below and you better believe there is more to come from WordSmiff & ReQ Cartier.
