We are live from the city again…New York City that is… Brooklyn’s own WordSmiff is back with a new remix and this time he doesn’t come alone. Giving us ‘Live From The City II’ Smiff keeps things in house with bringing along his partner in crime ReQ Cartier for the party and a familiar face to Def Pen in Qu’ality.
Now if you guys thought the original version was dope, the remix is just as good, might even be better and y’all know how remixes can either make or break a record.
Off the back ‘Live From The City II’ is exactly what a remix should be; a feature or two, new lyrics and a new beat. Simple right? Well this is sometimes a lost art. Even though WordSmiff is from BK it’s clear that this record is for the entire city to enjoy and if you can’t see that then get your eyes checked. Hopefully we get a video for this joint and if we go even further, hopefully remixes with several different artist throughout each borough. Just an idea..
