
We love this time of year. It’s officially festival season. Coachella is set for mid April, Broccoli City Music Festival will come not long afterwards and Rolling Loud is set for May. Not to mention, festivals like Made In America, Roots Picnic and Hot 97’s Summer Jam are set for the summer. Today, we got official word of another major festival set to take place this August.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Jay-Z would be headlining the fiftieth anniversary of Woodstock. We also found out that major acts like Chance The Rapper and Miley Cyrus would also be performing. Tonight, we got the full lineup for the historic anniversary showcase.
Woodstock’s fiftieth anniversary will run for three days from Friday, August 16th until Sunday, August 18th. Alongside Chance The Rapper and Jay-Z, Vince Staples, Common and Run The Jewels will also be performing. In addition, Leon Bridges, Akon, Taylor Bennett, Janelle Monae, Princess Nokia and India.Arie have also joined the lineup.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale April 22nd. In the meantime, you can check out the festival’s official website and sign up for updates in order to be the first to get your ticket to see Jay-Z and Common.
