Otto Porter Jr got his first start of his young NBA career, replacing the injured Paul Pierce, and the Washington Wizards trio of John Wall, Bradley Beal and Porter cooked up the Minnesota Timberwolves at home, winning their fifth consecutive game, 109-95.

Marcin Gortat had 15 points, Bradley Beal had 10 points and Otto Porter had 10 points as well. Nene came off the bench to score 11 points with 7 rebounds and Kevin Seraphin had 10 points, both players coming off the bench.
Thaddeus Young led a third-quarter charge and had a season-high 29 points for Minnesota. The Wolves though have lost 9 of their last 10 games. Shabazz Muhammad had 21 off the bench and Gorgui Dieng had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Foul shooting killed the T-wolves. They shot 20 for 35, and missed 10 of 14 in the first half as they trailed by 10 at halftime.
