And there is another trade that is locked in. After rumors for the past couple of days. The Sacramento Kings have made a move and it is for the veteran Andre Miller. After looking to trade Ramon Sessions they have found a team that wants him. The Washington Wizards. And according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. The Wiz have traded Andre Miller to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Ramon Sessions. Which means that Miller will reunite with his old coach George Karl.
The Washington Wizards traded guard Andre Miller to the Sacramento Kings for guard Ramon Sessions, a league source told Yahoo Sports.
The trade reunites Miller with new Kings coach George Karl. Karl had a close relationship with Miller in Denver and pushed for Miller’s addition after taking over the Kings.
This means that the Kings get a veteran in Andre Miller that knows the head coach very well and might help the players cut the learning curve when it comes to learning about George Karl’s methods.
Miller ranks 9th in the All-Time assists. And is the second highest among active players. Only Steve Nash is higher. The Wizards get a solid player in Sessions who isn’t pass first but it shouldn’t be much of a problem.
