Washington Wizards fans might have felt some nervous feelings over the last few weeks with the news about ‘The Truth’, Paul Pierce, possibly considering moving away from the Wiz to join his hometown Los Angeles Clippers.
Now as the team looks towards the future, they are optimistic that Pierce will return and he will be able to give Washington what they brought him there for. As he likes to say.

UPDATE: Paul Pierce has left the Wizards for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Pierce leaving Washington breaks the hearts of many Wizards fans. In the one season he was with the team he had one amazing playoff moment after another proving that indeed, ‘this is why they brought him here‘.
Now it’s time for Pierce to make one last run at an NBA Championship. He’ll be heading home to Los Angeles to play with Doc Rivers, the only coach he ever won an NBA Championship with. It’s a match made in heaven for the Clippers as well because they are now bringing in Pierce with their mini-midlevel exception.
